Aortic Valve Structure

The aortic valve is seen optimally on electrocardiogram (ECG)-gated, balanced steady state free precession imaging. These sequences allow dynamic imaging of the valve and its features (A-G) and provide excellent contrast throughout the cardiac cycle.
